The Centre

The Kashi Kriya Yoga Centre, associated with the centre of the same name in Australia, was developed to create a space in which to practice Yoga and Ayurveda, but also offering other activities related to a more knowledgeable approach, from an individual or social viewpoint.

The tradition and the integrity of these two great techniques from India is maintained and preserved, despite the difficulties and opportunities of the present day.

The Centre’s new housing was built respecting the criteria of sustainability, and is eco-friendly to the point of being defined a zero impact Yoga Centre, demonstrating that it is possible to make conscientious choices without renouncing efficiency and practicality.

The luminosity, beauty and harmony of the new Centre make the atmosphere exceptionally welcoming and enjoyable, communicating the message that it is possible to externalise that which we have internally.

The Staff

ILARIA PERNI: I began practicing Yoga at an early age.

Initially I trained at the Joytinat Yoga Centre in Genoa under Swami Joythimayananda from Tamil, South India. Then I earned a Diploma from the Yoga Satyananda Ashram School in Italy.

I furthered my studies in Indian Tradition with Gitananda Ashram at the Italian Hindu Union near Savona. I also studied Ayurveda, traditional Ayurvedic massage and PanchaKarma. I earned a diploma as an Ayurvedic Massage Professional from the Joytinat Yoga Centre, and also a diploma from the Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine in Florence, training under Dr Bhagwan Dash and Dr Lalitesh Kashyap from New Delhi, India.

I am presently studying at the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India.

I earned a diploma in Massophysiotherapy, integrating a western methodology into my professional formation.
I have taught Yoga since 1996, and practiced Ayurvedic Massage since 1998.
I’ve managed the Kashi Kriya Yoga Centre since 2007, and I continue to manage hotel and resort spas since 2009.
I’m also a professional trainer for Yoga teachers and massage therapists.

My greatest blessing has been to encounter my Guru Prakash Shankar Vyas (Guruji), Kriya Yoga Master, and begin my own spiritual journey under his guidance.
